Can you do a medical EEG at home?

Physician-ordered ambulatory EEG exists: a clinic wires you up and sends you home with a recorder. That is a medical procedure with clinical equipment. Consumer home EEG is a different category built for wellness insight, not diagnosis.

Is home EEG accurate?

Do you need gel or skin prep?
