Everything people ask about Zone, in-ear EEG, and what neurofeedback earbuds can and cannot do. The beta is open if you want to try Zone early.
Zone is a pair of neurofeedback earbuds. Zone uses an 8-channel in-ear EEG array to read your brain activity and turn it into real-time focus tracking, plus gentle coaching to help you work with your attention instead of against it.
Your neurons communicate with small electrical signals, and EEG measures the rhythm of that activity. Zone places the sensors in the ear tips, close enough to read meaningful brain signal while staying completely out of sight.
In-ear EEG reads less signal than a full clinical scalp cap, so Zone focuses on clear trends in your focus over time rather than precise clinical measurement. It is built to be reliable for everyday performance, not for diagnosis.
No. Zone is a wellness and performance tool. It does not diagnose, treat, or monitor any medical condition, and it is not a substitute for professional medical care.
Zone is designed to disappear. At about 4.2 grams per earbud, with soft ear tips that hold the sensors in place, it is built to be worn through long focus sessions without fatigue.
No. Most people wear Zone for focused work blocks, a couple of hours at a time, and drop the earbuds back in the case between sessions to recharge. The more you wear it, the better your personal baselines get, but short, consistent sessions are enough.
Zone runs up to 2.5 hours of continuous focus tracking on a single charge, and the charging case extends that to 9 hours total. A full recharge over USB-C takes up to 1.5 hours.
Your neural data is yours. We treat the signals Zone collects as sensitive personal data and handle them according to our privacy policy, and you stay in control of what is stored and shared.
Zone is available through early access. Join the beta to reserve your spot, and you will be among the first to receive the earbuds ahead of the public launch. We confirm spots by email as units are allocated.
Zone is included with a Zone membership of $348 per year; the hardware is not sold separately. You can start with a 30-day free trial or pay the year upfront. After your first year, you stay at $348 per year or switch to $34 per month, whichever you picked at signup.
Yes. You can start with a 30-day free trial: nothing is charged upfront, and the trial clock starts the day your earbuds are delivered. If you keep them, your card is charged $348 for your first year on day 31. If Zone is not for you, start a return before the trial ends and you pay nothing.
The 30-day trial is the return window: cancel any time during the trial, send the earbuds back with the prepaid label, and you are never charged. If you paid the year upfront, you have 30 days from delivery for a full refund. After that, your membership runs through the end of its 12 months.
Anyone who relies on focus: knowledge workers, students, athletes, coaches, and people with busy or restless minds who want to understand their attention and make it work for them.
